How Do I Opt Out Of Verizon Custom Experience on App?
If you would like to opt-out of Verizon Custom Experience through the My Verizon app, it’s simple to do if you follow these steps below:
- Open the My Verizon app on your device
- Select “Settings” on the top right-hand side of the app
- Scroll down until you see “Manage Privacy Settings”
- Select “Manage Privacy Settings”
- Toggle Verizon Custom Experience Off
However, if you have multiple lines on your Verizon account, you’ll need to toggle Custom Experience off for each line, or else only the lines you toggled will be opted-out.
How Do I Opt Out Of Custom Experience Plus?
You can opt out of Custom Experience Plus the same way you did the Custom Experience and do so by either using the app or the My Verizon website.

You can choose to stay enrolled in the program if you use the personalized recommendations that Verizon offers, such as if they recommend a music program that you’d like to try.
However, most people will find that the data collection, which Verizon does save for a while, is not worth the few good recommendations you might receive as a result.
