  1. Login to your Steam account
  2. Once you’re logged in, select the item(s) you want to purchase, and click “Add to cart”
  3. Next, select either “Purchase for myself,” or “Purchase as a gift”
  4. After you will be sent to the “Payment Method” page, there you can select PayPal as your payment method
  5. Then, as stated previously, you will need to click the PayPal button, login to your PayPal account, and choose one of your saved payment methods on PayPal that you want to use

  6. Last, review the details and click “Agree & Pay”

Does Steam Refund PayPal?

Fortunately, Steam will refund purchases through PayPal. To submit your refund request, use help.steampowered.com.

The guidelines to request a refund are 14 days after your payment, and there must be less than 2 hours of playtime on the game.

Furthermore, if you have played a game longer than 2 hours, you may still submit a request for a refund, and customer service will take a look at it, but it cannot be outside of the 14-day limit.

If your refund is approved, it will take up to 7 days to process, unless it’s international.

Additionally, if your refund is approved within 24 hours of your purchase, the purchase is canceled and the money is not withdrawn from your account.

  6. Finally, you will then need to fill out the request form and submit it

When your refund request is finished, you will receive a confirmation email.
