How Do I Reschedule My Passport Appointment With USPS?
After scheduling your appointment online using the USPS Retail Customer Appointment Scheduler (RCAS), you’ll receive an email with details about the time and location of your appointment.
Also, USPS will send you a confirmation number. But, if you need to modify or cancel your appointment, click on the “Manage Appointments” link in the email.
Then, enter your confirmation number and email address or phone number in the designated areas.
Once you’ve entered your personal details, you’ll be able to cancel your appointment or find a time that’s better suited to your schedule.

- If your last U.S. passport was issued 15 or more years ago.
- If your passport was damaged, lost, or stolen.
- If you’re 16 years old or younger.
- If your previous passport was issued under another name and you don’t have a legal document (e.g., marriage license) to prove your legal name change.
If none of these scenarios apply to you, you can submit your application for a passport renewal by mail, as you don’t need to make an appointment at the Post Office.
What Do You Need To Bring To Your Passport Appointment?
