One of the best things about Instacart is how many different store partners they have managed to secure over the years. And it’s not just national chains, but regional and local stores.
By partnering with these smaller chains, Instacart is giving the people the choices they want and the goods they have come to trust for their families.
One such example is ShopRite, but the chain already had its own grocery delivery/pickup system since 1999. So are they a partner of Instacart? Read below and find out.
Is ShopRite A Partner Of Instacart In 2024?
ShopRite is a partner of Instacart, along with the other chains under its parent company, Wakefern Food Corp., the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the U.S. Through Instacart, ShopRite customers can enter their Price Plus Club card for extra savings and access ShopRite’s full selection of groceries, including popular store brand items.

How Does Shoprite Instacart Work?
To access ShopRite Instacart you have to have an Instacart account – login or sign up and on the main Instacart page, if you have a ShopRite around you, you’ll see the logo listed.
Press on it and the ShopRite storefront will open. As soon as it does, at the bottom of the page it will ask you to enter your Price Plus Club card (if you haven’t already).
This is how you access those Price Plus Club deals, even on Instacart.
Load up your cart with whatever you need, but remember there is a $35 minimum on orders for delivery.
At check-out you can leave delivery instructions for your shopper – where to leave the bags, if they shouldn’t knock, etc., and then choose your payment option.
ShopRite does not accept EBT SNAP at this time through Instacart, so you will have to pay with a debit or credit card (or PayPal or Apple/Google/Samsung Pay).
Then you will continue to the next page, which is where you leave your tip.
If you are living in a metropolitan area (NYC, Philadelphia, etc.) and your home or apartment is kind of a pill to get to, consider leaving a very generous tip for your shopper.
Tip either way, but consider showing your gratitude if you’re on a fourth-floor walk-up or have an insane parking situation on the street.

ShopRite does not currently accept pickup orders, so unfortunately delivery is your only option when shopping this chain.
How Do You Add ShopRite Card To Instacart?
There are three different ways to add your Price Plus Club card to your Instacart account so you can take advantage of the deals.
First, when you initially enter the ShopRite marketplace, Instacart will prompt you to enter the number.
If you X that out accidentally, you can also look under the ShopRite logo at the top. It will say View pricing policy, 100 percent satisfaction guarantee and Save with Price Club Plus.
Press on “Save with…” and it will prompt you to enter your card number.
Finally, if you think to do it upon opening Instacart generally, you can press on the three horizontal lines at the upper-left corner.
That will open your account hub, and you can press on Your account settings.
From there, choose Loyalty cards. This will open all the available membership/club/savings cards available from stores in your area.
Find the ShopRite logo and press on “Add Loyalty Card.”
Do You Need A Membership For ShopRite Instacart?
You do not need a membership for ShopRite Instacart, either for the ShopRite store or for Instacart.
However, you can access better prices if you get a Price Club Plus card, which is totally free.
And you can also save money on your Instacart shopping, especially if you’re a frequent user, with Instacart Express, which is $99 annually or $10 per month.
How Much Are Charges For Shoprite Instacart?
ShopRite prices are generally higher on Instacart than in stores, to help offset the costs of the company operating on Instacart.
You must meet a $35 order minimum as well.
Then you should also consider delivery prices, which can range from $3.99 to more like $7.99 during peak shopping hours, as well as service fees.
Service fees account for about five percent of your cart’s total.
Remember, ShopRite does not do pick up on Instacart (though they offer it through their own store’s digital marketplace), so you can’t save that way
If you want to save money on your deliveries, though, and you find yourself using Instacart more than twice per month, consider Instacart Express.
For $99 annually or $10 per month, you get unlimited free delivery and reduced service fees.
Finally, you should leave a generous tip for your shopper, at least $5 per order, but more in the range of 15 to 20 percent for larger/heavier orders.
Does ShopRite Instacart Do Pickup?
ShopRite Instacart does not do pickup, and my guess is that it’s because the chain offers its own pickup service.
So if you find you can’t afford delivery this week, consider shopping straight through ShopRite’s website, where you can arrange for free curbside pickup (check ahead that your store offers it).
Does ShopRite Take EBT On Instacart?
ShopRite does not appear to accept EBT on Instacart, though they do in stores.
If you want to use your EBT SNAP online, however, you can do that through ShopRite’s own website.
Is ShopRite Instacart Delivery 24 Hours?
Some ShopRite’s are indeed open 24 hours, but unfortunately they do not deliver through Instacart all day and all night (as some retailers do).
The most common cut-off time for last delivery that I have seen with ShopRite is 11 p.m.
