What’s great about Verizon Number Share is that you don’t have to download an app on the other authorized devices for the device to gain access to your mobile number.
Verizon Number Share will cost you $10 per month for each connected device that accesses your mobile number.
However, you also can choose to pay for the connected device to have a different mobile number instead of sharing your cell phone number, which will also cost $10 per month.
Verizon requires that you use a compatible and authorized device to begin using Verizon Number Share, and those eligible devices include the following:

Unfortunately, these are the only devices that Verizon will authorize for the Number Share service, but more devices will be added to this list in the future, so stay tuned!
How Do I Turn off Number Sharing on Verizon?
You can turn off Number Sharing on Verizon devices at any time, as long as you’re the account owner or manager, by following these steps:
- Go into My Verizon and sign in to your account
- Select “Manage Connected Devices”
- Find the connected device you want to disconnect and drag it down to the tray icon, located on the bottom of the page
Furthermore, once you’ve turned off number sharing, that device will have a $10 per month fee as a standalone device and will get a different phone number.
Palm and Apple Watch will not work if you turn off Number Sharing, and you are required to keep those two specific devices connected to a smartphone.
Likewise, you can turn off Verizon Number Share through the My Verizon app in just a few steps, which are as follows:
- Open your My Verizon App
- Select “Accounts” and enter your password
- Select “Manage All Devices” and then select “Manage Device”
- Find the device you’d like to stop sharing and select it, which will turn it into a standalone plan with a separate number
- Select “Continue” once you’ve reviewed the new information
- Click “Done”
To use Verizon Number Share, you’re going to need to have all of your devices on the same account, since you’re sharing the cell phone number.

People on an Unlimited Plan through Verizon can also use Number Share, but you will have to purchase a Connected Device Plan for an additional fee of $10 per month for smartwatches.
