Where Is Ghee In Walmart + Other Grocery Stores?

Walmart, one of America’s largest grocery providers, offers a wide range of ingredients that allow customers to make homemade dishes inspired by cuisine worldwide. Ghee is a versatile ingredient used to make roasted veggies, Korma, Biryani, biscuits, and more!

Although when searching for ghee in your local Walmart or another grocery store, you may wonder, where is ghee? Here is what I’ve found!

Where Is Ghee In Walmart?

Walmart customers can typically find ghee near olive and truffle oil along the cooking oils aisle. Additionally, some Walmart stores place ghee products along the baking aisle near eggs and shelf-safe dairy products. Ghee may also be stored in the refrigeration section near the butter.

If you’d like to know which ghee we recommend and how to find it in Walmart and other grocery stores, carry on reading!

Use The Walmart + App To Find Ghee!

Ghee is an excellent lactose-free option or an alternative to standard cooking oils. We recommend downloading the Walmart + app to save yourself valuable time scouring the aisles.

The free app is downloadable via the App Store or Google Play to Apple and Android smartphones. Locate your nearest store by inserting the zip code and type “ghee” into the search bar.

You’ll receive the exact aisle and shelf position the ghee you are after is on, provided the store you selected has enough stock. If you’re having trouble with the app, a staff member will kindly show you to the ghee.

Where Is Ghee In Grocery Stores?

Grocery stores such as Kroger, Target, Cole’s, Whole Foods Market, Meijer, and Safeway typically stock ghee along the cooking oil lane near coconut and olive oil. Alternatively, customers can find ghee in the baking aisle next to the eggs and long-life dairy. Some grocery stores will also stock ghee next to the butter in the fridge section.

Which Ghee From Walmart Is The Best?

If you’re on a budget, Walmart offers ghee under their own Great Value branded ghee clarified butter for less than $8.

However, if you’re looking for something more premium, the Kelapo Ghee Amber Glass Jaw has positive customer satisfaction. You’ll receive 13 oz for $37.

4th and Heart’s lactose-free ghee is an excellent alternative to butter and cooking oils.

The product was organically produced by grass-fed cows perfect for sauteed potatoes, eggs, and toast. Alternatively, purchase easy to use cooking spray by Carrington Farms,

Customers can always check out Walmart’s ghee variety online at Walmart.com.
