What Does an Amazon Gift Card Claim Code Look Like?
If customers are unsure where to find their claim code, they can locate it on the back of their gift card. Claim codes are 14 digits, usually a mixture of letters and numbers.
New gift cards will generally have a white removable strip covering the claim code, and below it will be two arrows pointing upward labeled “Claim Code.”
Additionally, there is usually a camera symbol on the left side and a gift box symbol on the right side of the claim code strip.
However, customers who have received a digital gift card will find the claim code in the email sent to their inbox.

Amazon gift cards may be used until the balance is used up or until the card expires. However, customers can reload their gift cards as long as they remain valid.
Customers should note, though, that Amazon gift cards are valid for different lengths of time depending on the country they reside in.
For example, the United States allows Amazon gift cards to be used for up to 10 years, while in countries like India, the cards are only valid for one year.
