Can You Send a Fax At Walgreens? [All You Need To Know]

Even though sharing documents has become quite easy thanks to digital technology, people may still need to use a fax machine in certain situations.

Since Walgreens offers a range of convenience services, you may be wondering: can you send a fax from Walgreens?  Here is what I’ve learned by contacting Walgreens Customer Service!

Can You Send a Fax To Walgreens?

Unfortunately, Walgreens customers cannot send faxes from any stores. However, you can visit alternative stores including Staples, Office Depot, The UPS Store, and FedEx to send a fax. For one page, it costs $1-$2 for local fax, $2-$4 for long-distance fax, and $6-$8 for international fax.

Since Walgreens does not have a fax machine for public use, you may want to know what alternatives there are and how much it costs to send a fax. Keep on reading to find the answers!

Where Else Can You Send A Fax From?

If you want to send or receive a fax, you can head over to any nearby store of the following alternatives:

  • Staples (send only)
  • Office Depot/Office Max (send only)
  • FedEx/Kinkos
  • AAA (only for AAA members)
  • Postal Annex (send only)
  • Pilot Flying J

Other than these, you can visit a nearby bank or credit union, public library, hotel, travel agent, or city council office to send a fax.

Note that fax machines at these places may not be for public use so, in emergency situations, you could request an employee to send a fax on your behalf.

Finally, you can also use some online services that make sending or receiving fax easy and quick:

  • MetroFax
  • MyFax
  • FaxZero

How Much Does It Cost To Send A Fax?

The amount you will be charged for sending a fax depends on the number of pages you want to send, the service provider you are using, and how far you want to send the fax.

Typically, here is what you should expect to pay based on how far you are sending the fax:

  • For one-page local fax: between $1 and $2
  • For one-page long-distance fax: between $2 and $4
  • For one-page international fax: between $6 and $8

Note that if you are an AAA member, you can send and receive a fax for free at any AAA outlet.
