  1. I work as an associate at Home Depot, specifically at the service desk, and have done so for over eight years. There is NO system in place for a 10 percent mark down for Law Enforcement or First Responders. This website is entirely false in this reporting. Currently Lowes does, but we don’t. Even veterans can’t get a discount for just showing their ID. They need to register with Home Depot through the website in order to get it. Don’t believe this. I just checked with my manager, in case this was new. It’s not. It doesn’t exist. Stop spreading lies for the sake of other retail stores out there. I just had to disappoint a customer because of this exact post.
