Verizon TravelPass is easy to add to your Verizon account before you go on your trip to Costa Rica, and you can add it by texting “Travel” to 4004.
Then, as long as your phone is unlocked and you have roaming or data turned on, you’ll be able to use TravelPass when you travel to international locations such as Costa Rica.
In addition to that, you can call Verizon customer service to add TravelPass to your account or go online to My Verizon and choose when to add TravelPass for all upcoming travel.
After that, TravelPass will activate as soon as you send a text, check email, or make a phone call once you’ve reached Costa Rica.

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, is a trendy tourist destination where you’ll get Verizon coverage. Also, it should be good quality reception regardless of your location within the city.
Does Verizon Work In Limon, Costa Rica?
Yes, Verizon has good coverage in Limon, Costa Rica, as you can see on the international travel map for that location.
However, if you’re going to Cahuita, you may lose some cell signal since that location is on the beach, and the quality near the beaches can be less-than-stellar.
