Where Can I Send Money Using MoneyGram With Walmart?

You can send money to anyone in the United States, as well as to friends and family in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.

MoneyGram also offers money-sending services to over 200 countries around the globe, so there is no need to fret about how you will get money for your far-away loved ones.

How Much Does MoneyGram Cost At Walmart?

Domestic MoneyGram transfers start at $1.99, while international MoneyGram transfers start at $8. One thing to consider for international transfers is the currency exchange, which also incur additional fees.

Additionally, for all transfers over $1,000, the fees can range from 0.75% to 1% of the total transfer value.

For example, an international transfer of $5,000 using MoneyGram at Walmart would have a $50 fee.

How Long Do MoneyGram Transfers Take?

How Long Does MoneyGram Take?

If you send your MoneyGram transfer via one of the Money Services counters in a Walmart store, the cashier will go over the speeds available and what they cost for each.

Typically, the options for same-day and overnight delivery service are only available for funds sent from one Walmart to another.

How Can My Recipient Get Their Money?

When you send money via MoneyGram, you can choose the pick-up option, which is easiest for your recipient. You can also send the money directly to their bank account, and they won’t even have to leave their house.

But if they don’t have a bank account, not to worry. They can go pick up their money in person at any Walmart or MoneyGram location worldwide.

How Do I Make A MoneyGram Transfer At Walmart?

There are a couple of ways you can complete your MoneyGram money transfer. The easiest is via the Walmart App. You start your transaction at home, with all the information needed close by, then head to your local Walmart store to finalize it when it is done.

If you aren’t technology savvy, you can also head to the Money Services counter in the Walmart store in your neighborhood, and an employee can walk you through the process.

What Do You Need To Send a MoneyGram Transfer?

You will need a valid ID, the money you wish to send, money to cover the fees, and information on the person you are sending this money to. That information could be a bank account number or identification information to arrange a cash pick-up.

If you are making a MoneyGram transfer via the app, you will also need your bank information for the bank you wish to transfer money from.

Where Is Walmart MoneyGram Located?

MoneyGram services are offered at the Money Services counter in most Walmart locations. However, some Walmarts do have the MoneyGram as a stand-alone service that can be found at the customer service counter.

If you have any questions about where to go when you enter the store, ask a friendly Walmart employee for help, and they can point you in the right direction.

What Time Is MoneyGram Open In Walmart?

Generally, Money Service and MoneyGram counters have similar hours to the Walmart store which they are located (usually 7 am – 11 pm) and in some stores 24/7. To be sure, it is also best to confirm with your local Walmart store.
