To cancel DashPass, go to “Account,” “Manage DashPass,” and click on “End Subscription,” as of 2024. You can cancel DashPass on the mobile app or a computer. After canceling a DashPass subscription, the benefits will last through the current billing period. Also, you can cancel your DashPass subscription whenever you would like.

How Do You Cancel DashPass?

Fortunately, it is straightforward if you want to cancel your DashPass subscription. Also, you can do so on the DoorDash mobile app or website.

With that, to cancel a DashPass membership on your smartphone or tablet, follow these steps:

  1. Open the DoorDash app
  2. Tap the “Account” icon (which you can find at the top left-hand side of the screen)
  3. Go to “Manage DashPass”
  4. Click on “End Subscription”
  5. Confirm that you want to cancel your subscription by clicking on “End Subscription”

On the other hand, if you typically use your computer to place DoorDash orders, you can also cancel your DassPash subscription on this platform.

For example, follow these steps if you want to cancel your DassPash subscription on your computer:

  1. Log in to your account on the DoorDash website
  2. Click on the “Account” icon on the top left-hand side of the screen
  3. Find “Manage DashPass”
  4. Click on “End Subscription”
  5. Confirm that you would like to cancel DashPass by clicking on “End Subscription”

As you can see, it’s very easy to cancel DashPass and only takes a few moments.

After you end your subscription, DoorDash sends you a notification on the app or computer, as well as a message to your email confirming that your DashPass subscription is canceled. 

When Can You Cancel DashPass?

You have the freedom to cancel your DashPass subscription at any point.

But, if you want to avoid being charged for the following subscription period, you have to cancel at least one day before the renewal date.

Also, to start your DashPass free trial, you need to enter a payment method, as DoorDash will automatically charge this card when the trial period ends.

So, if you do not want to commit to DashPass, you need to cancel your subscription before the free trial ends. 

How Much Does DashPass Cost?

DoorDash gives you a couple of options when it comes to signing up for DashPass. For example, you can pay for the subscription on a monthly basis, which costs $9.99 a month.

Or, you can pay on an annual basis at $96 a year or $8 a month. As you can see, the yearly plan allows you to save a little money upfront.

However, with the monthly plan, you can end the subscription at any time and not have to worry about a long-term commitment.
