How Strict Is Target’s Computer Return Policy?
While the regular return policy for Target is 90 days for opened and unopened products, Target’s return policy for electronics is different and more strict.
Under this policy, computers, laptops, and accessories must be returned to the store within 30 days in unopened and unused condition for a full refund.
Additionally, you must also bring the original receipt of purchase to the store when you are returning the item.
Can I Return Used Computers To Target?
Unfortunately, opened electronic and entertainment items such as computers and laptops cannot be returned to Target.
However, these can be exchanged in-store for the same or other similar items.
Can I Return A Computer To Target Without A Receipt?
Since Target’s policy regarding the return of computers and laptops is quite strict, you can be denied a return by Target if you do not have the original receipt.

Instead, you will be given the equivalent of the item’s lowest price in the last 30 days to a merchandise gift card, which can only be used in-store.
For some computer products such as those sold by Apple, you will have to adhere to different policies and may not be able to return the item at all after the stipulated return window.
Can I Return A Gifted Computer To Target?
You can return a computer you received as a gift to Target if you have a gift receipt or packing slip, but you will not receive a monetary refund and instead will be issued a Target GiftCard.

You can return computers purchased on Target.com to any nearby store by bringing along any of the following:
