Cashiers use this to ensure you do not regularly request returns without a receipt.
Target can then track your transaction if you paid with a Target Red card (including the Credit, debit, and MasterCard editions), third-party Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit card.
Purchases that are proven will be eligible for a total return.
Additionally, customers who cannot confirm their purchase may receive a refund in the form of a Target merchandise card at the DVD or Blu-Ray product’s current sale price.
