Where Is Hand Sanitizer In Walmart + Other Grocery Stores?

Walmart prides itself on providing a vast array of products and services to its millions of everyday customers, in an effort to make everyday life a little bit easier.

However, you may be wondering if Walmart stocks hand sanitizers, and where they can be found. Here is everything I have managed to find out!

Where Is Hand Sanitizer In Walmart?

Hand sanitizer can usually be found in Walmart for health and beauty products and home care goods. Additionally, some Walmarts will stock large and small hand sanitizer bottles in the first aid aisle next to the bandages and cotton buds.

Use The Walmart+ App To Pinpoint The Location Of Hand Sanitizer

If you can’t find hand sanitizer in Walmart, don’t worry. Just download the Walmart+ app!

Once the app has been installed, find your Walmart store, and search for hand sanitizer.

The app will show you the exact location of the product, including the shelf and section in the store!

Where Is Hand Sanitizer In Grocery Stores?

In grocery stores such as Kroger, Publix, Meijer, Safeway, Target, and Whole Foods, hand sanitizer can typically be found in the first aid aisle next to the soaps and bandages.

Some grocery stores will also stock hand sanitizer in the health and beauty aisles next to the shampoo and deodorant products.

Walmart Hand Sanitizer Products

Walmart stocks a large variety of hand sanitizer products, ranging from small pocket bottles to larger bottles for home or business use.

Walmart stocks specialist hand sanitizers, such as Dove hand sanitizer which also has a moisturizing effect.

Are There Any Substitutes For Hand Sanitizer?

Hand sanitizers sold out in record time at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic across the World, thanks to increased panic buying.

If a similar situation were to occur again, then you may need to search for substitutes. A few of these substitutes include:

  • Soap and water. If you can get your hands on soap, then lathering your hands in it can actually prove even more beneficial than sanitizer!
  • Rubbing Alcohol. Rubbing alcohol alone can be quite harsh on the skin, so it is best to avoid it if you have sensitive skin, but it is a key ingredient in sanitizer, so it can work well.
