Does Asda Deliver? [All You Need To Know!]

As our lives get busier, many supermarkets have started to provide delivery services so customers can save the drive while also having someone else do the shopping for them.

Because of this, you might be wondering whether or not Asda provides a delivery service for its customers. And if so, how does it work? Here is what I discovered!

Does Asda Deliver?

Asda does offer delivery as of [currentyear] for both their online grocery store and their home décor store, which operates on a slot system. Customers can book a time and date that best suits them using the Asda.com website. Typically, the delivery fee can range between £1-£7 or free if customers have a Delivery Pass.

How Much Does Asda Charge For Delivery?

Asda charges a delivery fee of between £1-£7, which can vary depending on the size of the order.

When checking out on Asda.com, customers can see the delivery cost associated with the given delivery.

For orders that are under £40, Asda adds an extra £3 basket fee. Also, if customers have an Asda Delivery Pass, you will be entitled to free delivery whilst your pass is valid.

What Is An Asda Delivery Pass?

Asda typically charges a home delivery fee, but the Delivery Pass allows you to get your groceries delivered to your home for free.

Asda offers a range of passes that includes the Anytime Pass, which allows customers to get free delivery on any day of the week. It costs £8 for one month, £40 for six months or £65 for the entire year.

There is also a Midweek Delivery Pass which is cheaper and allows for free delivery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

How Do I Get An Asda Delivery Slot?

Customers can book a delivery slot on the Asda website by clicking on the top left corner menu and selecting the ‘book a slot’ button.

If you have not already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in to your Asda account and enter your postcode.

When you have entered your details, a calendar will appear showing the times and dates available for delivery. Each day also displays different delivery costs.

From the slots available, select a time and day that best suits you. The slots that are already booked display a ‘sold out’ message and provide you with the option to collect your shopping using Asda’s click and collect service instead.

How Do You Pay For Asda Online Shopping?

You can pay for your online shopping at Asda using a credit or debit card from the following card issuers: Mastercard, Delta, Maestro, Visa Debit, PayPal, and American Express.

Additionally, customers can also pay for online shopping using eVouchers and Asda Gift Cards.

The day before your delivery, the full amount of your purchase will show up as a pending payment on your bank account, but the money will not be taken out of your account until your order has been delivered successfully.

What Happens If I Miss My Asda Delivery?

If you miss your Asda delivery, the driver returns your shopping to the Asda store and cancels your order. You will not be charged for the items, but it could take between 3 and 5 days for your bank to clear your money.

For all the Asda fans out there, you will also be happy to know that they sell a wide range of other products, including helium tanks, paint, and stamps!
