Lowe’s Vacation Policy
On average, Lowe’s gives staff members 10 to 15 days of personal time off and vacation time per year. If employees have any unused time off, Lowe’s compensates them for it. Also, Lowe’s staff are entitled to six paid holidays, usually during Christmas and Thanksgiving.

How Does Vacation Time Work at Lowe’s?
Fortunately, both part-time and full-time employees at Lowe’s are eligible for vacation days after they’ve worked at Lowe’s for one year.
Lowe’s employees must have worked for this amount of time to accrue vacation days.
Vacation Time For Full-Time Lowe’s Staff
Employees can receive ten days ‘ vacation after one year of service at Lowe’s. After five years at Lowe’s, you can receive 15 days’ leave.
After 15 years at Lowe’s, employees receive 20 weeks of vacation.
Vacation Time For Part-Time Lowe’s Staff
After one year working at Lowe’s, part-time staff are entitled to 40 hours of vacation time.
Additionally, part-time employees receive 60 hours of vacation time after five years of service at Lowe’s.
If you have worked part-time for 15 years at Lowe’s, you are entitled to 80 hours of vacation per year.
How Do I Get a Vacation at Lowe’s?
If you need to request vacation or personal time off at Lowe’s, notify the relevant staff, such as your supervisor or manager, and submit a time off request form.
While Lowe’s will likely try to accommodate your request, the manager reserves the right to deny personal time off or vacation time, depending on the store’s requirements.
However, your Lowe’s manager will notify you whether or not they approve your time off request.
How Many Paid Holidays Do You Get at Lowe’s?
As well as earned vacation time, Lowe’s staff are also given six paid holidays throughout the year.
At Lowe’s, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day are the only two paid holidays when the store closes.
That said, full-time staff at Lowe’s will receive eight hours of holiday pay, whereas part-time employees will receive four hours of vacation pay for each holiday.
Does Lowe’s Pay For Vacation Time?
Yes, Lowe’s will pay full-time and part-time staff for their vacation time. For full-time staff at Lowe’s, Lowe’s pays for eight hours.
On the other hand, Lowe’s pays for four hours of vacation time for part-time employees.
Additionally, if staff need to work on holidays at Lowe’s, they will be paid holiday pay (time and a half).
Does Lowe’s Pay Double Time On Holidays?
If Lowe’s staff must work other holidays, they can accrue an additional four floating holidays, meaning they decide when to use them.
With that, hourly employees will receive holiday and regular pay, whereas salaried employees will be given an additional vacation day with pay if they work holidays.
However, Lowe’s staff are only entitled to this perk after 89 days of continuous employment.
How Many Vacation Days Can You Take a Year at Lowe’s?
