Can You Return Worn Shoes To Target?
According to the Target customer service team, you cannot return worn shoes to Target. Shoes must be in new condition and returned within the 90-day window in order to receive a full refund.
However, if you are not completely happy with your shoe purchase, whether they are the wrong size or painful to wear, then you can return them to Target for a refund or exchange.
Shoes which show signs of wear or damage are likely to be denied a refund or exchange, so keep your unused shoes safe.
Can You Return Shoes To Target Without The Box?
Target will accept shoe returns (including sneakers, high heels, sandals, flats, boots, slippers, etc.) without the original box as long as the shoes are in new and returnable condition, you are within the returns window, and proof of purchase exists.
However, keep in mind that returning shoes in the original box and protecting the shoes from any kind of damage may ultimately help with your return.
Can You Return Shoes To Target Without A Receipt?

Although Target’s policy states that shoes must be returned within 90 days, some employees on online forums have reported that your return may be accepted after 90 days.
However, it is recommended that the shoes must be in new condition, have the box, and have the original receipt for a return to be made after 90 days.
Additionally, you will have an extra 30 days after the original returns window if you paid using the Target RedCard, i.e., you will have 120 days after purchase to return the shoes.
For Target-owned brands, you will have up to 1 year to return the shoes to Target.
How Will You Receive The Refund?
In most cases, your original payment method will be refunded by Target. Refunds to a third-party credit card usually take 1-3 days, whereas refunds to a Target RedCard take 1-2 days.
Note that for items returned to the Online Return Center, refunds can take up to an additional 5 days due to the processing time of items.
Can You Return Shoes To Target If They Were A Gift?
You can return gifted shoes to a Target store if you have a gift receipt or packing slip. In this case, you will have your refund transferred to a Target Gift Card.
If you don’t have a gift receipt or packing slip, Target may issue you a merchandise return card which you can use in-store only.
To return gifted shoes, visit your nearest store and inform a team member that the item to be returned was a gift from somebody.
