Target GiftCards can be used anywhere in a Target store or on Target.com. According to their website, gift cards can be used for the following:
- To purchase alcohol and other restricted items
- Starbucks within Target stores
- CVS Pharmacy within Target stores
- Target Optical (in-store only)
- Target Cafe
Can I Use A Target Gift Card At Another Store?
Unfortunately no, you cannot use a Target GiftCard in any other store as target GiftCards are solely for use at Target and Target.com.

What Exclusions Apply?

Can I Use A Target Gift Card Online?
Yes, you can use a Target GiftCard for online purchases but only at Target.com. When using the checkout at Target.com, you can use up to 10 Target GiftCards or eGiftCards as payment per order.
For email and mobile gift cards both in-store and online, you will need to create a Target.com account in order to redeem them.
Can I Cash Out A Target Gift Card?
Unfortunately, Target will not pay you to cash in exchange for your gift card. Instead, customers could try selling it online or exchanging it for cash with a regular Target shopper.
