Where Is the Wayfair Store?
Wayfair previously opened a brick-and-mortar store in Natick, MA, in 2019, but as of 2020 it has closed, being a temporary pop-up. There is an outlet store in Florence, KY, which sells returns and closeouts in 2024. However, most significantly, Wayfair is opening a 100,000 square foot space in the King of Prussia Mall.
To learn more about Wayfair’s actual stores, whether you can pick up from Wayfair, where Wayfair is located in the US, and much, much more, keep going!
Does Wayfair Have an Actual Store?
Wayfair did have an actual store, in Natick, MA in the Natick Mall.
It was 3,700 square feet, and featured a Room Planner area and consultants, which allowed guests to create the room of their dreams digitally.
Customers could purchase from the store and take home same-day, or, if they bought larger pieces, could arrange to have them delivered later.
Upon the closing of the store in 2020, a Wayfair representative spoke to the temporary nature of the shop, and how it was an attempt to “test the waters.”
After closing, it would be two years until Wayfair was mentioned in tandem with another brick-and-mortar store, this in the King of Prussia Mall, in King of Prussia, PA.
In June 2022, in a Facebook post, Upper Merion Township Supervisor Greg Waks announced that Wayfair would be taking over a former JC Penney, which had been vacated in 2017.
The plan is for the store to open in 2023 or 2024, and it’s going to be something of a spectacle. For instance, within the 100,000 square foot space will be a café and a rooftop deck with a bar.
Further, Wayfair actually has an outlet location. Located in Florence, KY, it’s comprised of customer returns and closeouts, all marked down from their original prices.
Finally, one of the brands Wayfair owns, AllModern, has opened a store in Lynnfield, MA, with plans to open two more by the end of 2022.
As well, Furniture Today reports that Wayfair is going to open a 152,000 square foot Wayfair store in Wilmette, Ill., plus a Joss & Main store in the Burlington, MA mall.
Can You Pick up From Wayfair?
Currently, you can’t pick up your Wayfair order from any of the warehouses or distribution centers.
The company isn’t set up to accommodate pick-ups, so customers must simply wait until their items are delivered.
However, that isn’t to say that in the future, with Wayfair opening stores in 2022, 2023, and beyond, that they won’t offer “buy online, pick up in store.”
But, as no Wayfair store has been opened yet, that is pure speculation for the future.
Where Is Wayfair Located in the USA?
Wayfair’s headquarters is located in Boston, MA, at 4 Copley Place.
However, Wayfair has 18 fulfillment and 38 delivery centers in the U.S., Germany (including a corporate office in Berlin), and the UK (with a corporate office in London).
Further, some U.S.-based warehouse locations include Lathrop, CA, Port Wentworth, GA, Houston, TX, and Greensboro, NC.
Does Wayfair Have Stores in the UK?
Wayfair doesn’t currently operate any brick-and-mortar stores in the UK, and there are no plans to do so in the future
However, the company did host a pop-up in July 2019, a one-day-only event in London that featured a showroom split into four themed spaces, based on “unique travel hotspots.”
What Company Does Wayfair Own?
Wayfair is the parent company of several brands: AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane, and Perigold.
Each company has its own distinctive style and customer base, with Perigold seemingly “geared specifically toward someone who owns a castle…”
Where Is Wayfair Shipped From?
Wayfair doesn’t house 70 to 80 percent of the merchandise they sell; rather, they use the drop-ship method of shipping.
The drop-ship method is when a customer makes a purchase on Wayfair.com, Wayfair purchases the item from the supplier, and then the supplier ships out the item to the customer.
In other words, the origins of many items are as varied as the suppliers themselves (and some come from China).
So, next time you place an order with Wayfair, check the tracking to see where the item originated.
How Long Does It Take to Get an Order From Wayfair?
The amount of time it takes to receive your Wayfair order depends largely on how fast the shipping is.
If you purchased an item with two-day or one-day shipping, you can expect to receive your order within 1-2 business days.
However, if you purchased an item with a longer window, you can expect to receive your order within that later time frame.
I highly recommend setting your search filters to two-day or one-day shipping, because Wayfair’s shipping partners, UPS and FedEx, are very reliable.

Conclusion
Currently, Wayfair doesn’t have a physical store location, as the former brick-and-mortar store closed in late 2020.
However, there is talk that a 100,000 square foot Wayfair store is going into the King of Prussia Mall, taking up the space that a former JC Penney vacated in 2017.
