Additionally, Lowe’s military discount extends to the spouses of active members and dependent children up to 18 years old.

Lowe’s military discount excludes any veteran who was dishonorably discharged.
Why Did Lowe’s Change Their Military Discount?
Lowe’s changed the function of its military discount in 2017. The changes affected the procedure of getting the discount, meaning those wishing to apply must sign up online.
Additionally, the updated policy also allowed the discount to be used at self-checkout in stores.
Can I Use My Lowe’s Military Discount Online?
You can use your Lowe’s military discount online by signing into your Lowe’s account before purchasing.
One thing to note is that your military discount is linked to this account and will be applied to all eligible purchases.
How Do I Use My Military Discount At Lowe’s?
To use Lowe’s military discount in-store, you must first sign up for it online. Once the application has been submitted, the process is approved by a third party, and so further identification may be required.
Once accepted, you will then have to log in to your online Lowe’s account, to which the military discount will be applied at the checkout for eligible items.
When using your military discount in-store, you must provide either your phone number or MyLowe’s card, along with a valid form of ID, to the cashier.
Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Valid driver’s license
- State of federal-issued identification card
- Department of Defense identification card
- Passport or passport card
If you are the spouse of a serving member of the military, then your surname must match the service’s members.
Can You Combine Lowe’s Employee Discount With Military Discount?
There are some days when both employee discounts and military discounts can be used at Lowe’s. Specific days include Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day.
Does Lowe’s Give Military Discount On Everything?
Lowe’s military discount applies to almost everything, but there are some products you cannot buy using it. These include:
- Contractor packs
- Buy in Bulk items
- Special Value products
- Installation services
- Previous purchases
- Gift cards
- Fees and taxes
- Extended protection plans
Additionally, there is also a limit on how much you can save per transaction. This limit is $500, meaning you cannot get a 10% discount on anything more than $5,000.
Unfortunately, the Lowe’s military discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or coupons, nor any other discount except for a few exceptions.
Lastly, the discount also cannot be redeemed for cash, nor can it be combined with manager discretion price adjustments.
How Do I Prove Military Service To Lowe’s?
To enroll in the military discount scheme with Lowe’s, you will be expected to provide proof of military service. There are a few ways to prove this, including:
