Walmart Jewelry Return Policy
Walmart will return all types of jewelry items, such as rings, necklaces, earrings, watches, pendants, etc., within 90 days of purchase. Jewelry valued under $300 can be returned in-store to Walmart or by mail, whereas Jewelry valued at over $300 can be returned by mail only.
To find out more about whether you can return jewelry to Walmart without a receipt, whether you can return opened or damaged jewelry items, and much more, keep on reading!
How Can You Return Jewelry To Walmart?
Jewelry items that have a total value under $300 can be returned both in-store and through the mail, whereas those valued above $300 can only be returned via mail.
To return items in-store at Walmart, you must bring the jewelry in its original packaging/box with the original receipt and a valid form of government-issued photo ID to a nearby Walmart store.
If you paid using a debit/credit card, you must bring along the exact same card you used for the purchase for Walmart to process the refund. You can head over to the customer service desk or checkout counter and ask the employee to return your items.
For returning jewelry via mail (including gold, sterling silver, stainless steel, white gold, and diamond pieces), you should head over to the Walmart returns website and follow the given instructions to print the return shipping label.
You should attach this label with the jewelry in its original packaging and hand them over to a postal carrier. Walmart will process the refund to your mode of payment once it receives the parcel.
Can You Return Jewelry To Walmart Without A Receipt?
Yes, you can return jewelry items to Walmart without a receipt, but the item will have to undergo a refund verification process before it is returned.
When returning jewelry such as rings, necklaces, earrings, and pendants without a receipt, make sure to bring a valid form of government-issued photo ID since Walmart will use it to verify your details.
If you paid using a credit or debit card, Walmart might be able to track your purchase through your transaction history (even if you don’t have the receipt) and accept the return.
Additionally, Walmart can also use personal information, such as your contact number or email that you may have provided at the time of purchase, to track your order and return the jewelry.
Note that without the receipt, you will only be refunded through Walmart store credits or gift cards, thus forcing you to purchase something else from the store.
Can You Return Opened Jewelry Items To Walmart?
Yes, you can return opened jewelry items to Walmart. However, these must be brought to the store with the original packaging and the original receipt.
Can You Return Damaged Jewelry Items To Walmart?
If a jewelry item, such as a pair of diamond earrings you purchased from Walmart.com or a Walmart store, is damaged, you can return it by mail or hand it in at any Walmart store for a refund within the 90-day period.
However, damaged jewelry items purchased from Marketplace sellers at Walmart Marketplace online have to be returned within 14 days of purchase to receive a refund.
What is Walmart’s Marketplace Return Policy for Used and Pre-owned Jewelry Items?
The return policies for Walmart Marketplace sellers (that sell both used and pre-owned jewelry) are different from Walmart stores and walmart.com’s standard return policies.
Used or pre-owned jewelry items valued above $300 purchased from Walmart Marketplace sellers are counted as ‘luxury items’ and so need to be returned within 14 days after purchase.
For those valued below $300, these can be returned within the standard 90-day period to any Walmart store or through the mail.
So, there are a vast array of high-quality new and used jewelry items on sale across Walmart.com, Walmart Marketplace, and Walmart stores.
However, we recommend ensuring you are fully aware of the stipulations of the Walmart return policy applicable to the item (s) of jewelry you have purchased either online or from a Walmart store. You can go for a full refund, or you may opt to exchange an item and get another piece of jewelry.
